Their names lost to time, only legends of their knight armors striking out in the defense of mankind linger in the far reaches of the galaxy where hope has no home.”

Knights are my favorite part of Warhammer lore and their kits are fun to paint and customize. As shown with my Crusader and plastic Cerastus conversion. I'll be adding more Armigers and a Castellan upon their individual release.

First Game with Issodon/Atrapos

So my Templar friend and I did a Power 70 game.

I took:

• Captain with Relic plade and combi plas
• 10 sniper scouts with camo and a ML
• 5 bolter scouts with a HB
• LSS
• 10 Tacs with a combi plas, plas, and grav cannon
• Rhino
• Knight Crusader with RFBC

He Took:

• High Marshall
• Crusade squad loaded for CC
• LRC
• Stormtalon
• Knight Paladin

We did the Search and Destroy deployment and Retrieval mission. I wont do a play by play but LRs soak up serious damage. Knights RFBC can be puny or hilariously dangerous. Stormtalons are scary with twin assault cannons. Using rhinos to ram LRs is hilarious and effective. The new movement values are pretty cool. Contemptors are really fast.

I also want to invest in some assassins as well. Eversors assaulting from 9.01" for 3d6"(+"1") turn one is scary. Vindicares are going to mulch characters.

Plastic Cerastus Knight Acheron Conversion

I wasn't happy with how the Lancers Lance was looking. So I made a flame cannon just to see how it would look. Much better in my opinion, so Acheron it is now.

Plastic Cerastus Lancer Conversion

Well I decided to push my conversion skills after I decided I would never actually use a Gallant. So here's my attempts at a plastic Knight Lancer.

 Lengthening the legs and lance parts

Post filling on the legs, but pre filing/evening out

Post filing, filling, and evening.. I'll do another pass on them to get the shape better. The green rod I'll be using for my my piston lengths.

In lieu of a normal shield I decided to go with a buckler. The Renegade box comes with some building bits that, namely the big Aquila door, I'm tempted to convert into a tower shield.

Some more Knight WIPs

Knight Atrapos arrived today. My first Cerastus. It's going together a lot easier than I thought it would. Zero warping, which is impressive, but some minor bubbles and misalignment. Over-all a great cast. It's so fun to put together.

Meanwhile Dawnspear(the blue one) is done save for some iconography; which I have no idea what I'm going to do. The Mask seems too low but it's just a trick of the angle.

My first Knight Terminus was done last year but felt like including him.

I happened across a Plasma Obliterator in my LFGS. With the knight rumors, at the time, I thought to myself: I should mount that on a dakka knight.

Had to travel for health reasons, but I managed to start a skitarii force.
